Okay, so it’s not a club. Or maybe it is. Member(s): 1. Anyway, I decided this year to create one project (or take on one project) a month. This way I won’t be overwhelmed by taking on too much, or too big a project, and the chances of not finishing will be lowered as I will have 29-30-31 days to complete the project. Whew! This month’s project was easy to choose as I am attending one of Kelli’s fabulous crops (this one’s a mini) at the end of the month and with Valentine’s Day around the corner, I am choosing from my stack of fabulous ScrapScription album kits. Be Mine (appropriate for February) and Count Your Blessings. I am taking both AND completing both. And maybe Cherish. Just in case. Hey! You never know.
Did I mention this past weekend was one of firsts? For me - I checked the oil in my car. And even added some. That was a first. For this chickie, she had her first date. Very first. To the movies (her Mom chaperoned), but the young man paid K's way. Cute! Scary! but Cute! Not so cute that she's gone over her text limit in a matter of what? one week??? Seriously, that girl! She is my #1 reason for having to go to work each day. Glasses, braces, clothes, shoes, texting. And not in that order either! Ah, well, รจ la vita.
Note to Self: Check out Craft Yarn Counsel, WATER THE PLANTS, Find the Chicago photos to finish that album, CLEAN YOUR ROOM, get gas in the car, do laundry – 1 load, at least.
