Recipe for a Super Bowl Party

Granted the Steelers will not be in the Super Bowl this year, but I do not see that as a reason to not enjoy  Super Bowl fare (any excuse to cook up some fabulous new dishes, or fabulous family favorites). So, I am thinking these ribs would be perfect for half-time, served with lots of wet-naps, of course.
Now, preheat your oven to 300 degrees because these ribs are slow roasted.
Gather the ingredients.
1 dozen ribs. I chose country style, no bone. Since the pan I am using is rather old and not Teflon* (no stick! no stick! no stick!) I covered it with foil.
1 cup of brown sugar.
1/4 cup of hot mustard.
1/2 cup ketchup.
Cloves of garlic. (I used four)
2 TBS Tastefully Simple Simply Southwest Seasoning and Rub*

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, mustard, ketchup and Simply Southwest Seasoning and Rub.

With your spoon, spread the sauce over the ribs.
Now, tuck your cloves of garlic ...
in various places under the ribs.
Now slow roast in your oven for about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours.  My oven cooks fast so I start checking the ribs after the first hour. They are usually done soon after that.

And enjoy!

OH! Try to remember to take a photo as soon as they come out of the oven, or else they will be gone in a snap and like me, you will have no after photo.

* Please note that I am not a dealer, seller or spokesperson for Teflon or Tastefully Simple, they are just a few of my favorite things.
