Essential Sunday

Sleeping in. That's what K and I did this morning. In fact, we ate breakfast food for lunch.

Today was brilliant! It was warmer outside than in. The sky was blue and the sun was hot. We opened the windows to let the cold out.

From my window, I could hear the birds chirping, and here was a woodpecker knock, knock, knocking. The soft breeze gently lifted the curtains. 

We finally dressed, cleaned up a bit, went to the grocery for taco fixings and picked up Carl on our way back.

After dinner, we drove to town to ride the incline up to Mt. Washington. With a day like today, you knew the view would be spectacular. And it was!!!
