This is Today

The promise of a beautiful weekend. I have so much to do over the next two days starting with:

•  mowing the lawn;
•  having new front tires put on the car;
•  taking the kiddies to the park for a picnic; 
•  cleaning my room; and 
•  walking...lots of walking.

For the picnic I'm thinking of making up some chicken bites with ranch dressing.  So much easier for little hands to handle.  And carrot sticks.  Plus apple slices and caramel sauce for dipping.  Macaroni salad - a favorite of K's and pink lemonade and ice tea.  Frosted animal cookies.  Wow! There's my menu!  That was easy.  A stop at the grocery store on the way home tonight and I can make the bites and salad tonight.
