The Weather Outside

12/02/12 Christmas Weather

When I was a young girl, we could always expect a White Christmas.  But that hasn't always been so.  Sad are the years we do not wake up to a White Christmas.  Instead, we have had warm temperatures and gray, rainy days.  Hopefully, this year will be different!  Our region is experiencing warm temperatures (and light rain); (currently 63̊, at 4:09 p.m.) for this time of the year).  We can only hope that when we wake up on Christmas morning our big picture window frames trees, their branches delicately wearing a dress of white snow; that the yards are filled and awaiting happy children to come tumble, make snow angels, snowmen and igloos.

No snow in these here parts.
