Happy May 2018!

It's been about a month since I last posted here.  It's been a whirlwind of activity here.  April saw six birthdays.  SIX!  Cammi is now 16, Elliot and Dylan are 5! What in the world??

The weather in April was so unpredictable! Sunshine one day, snow the next.  Our Azalea bush is totally confused. 

Today, May 1, is lovely.  Cool (it's only 8 a.m.), but the sun is shining and the sky is so blue.  It's uplifting, soul soaring kind of day.

This month will be devoted to preparing the house for the summer months.  I am actually looking forward to clearing away the cobwebs, decluttering and pulling out the summer decor.  Exciting!

The little ones both got new bikes this past month and they are gearing up to be outside riding.  We hope to add a playhouse, put up the pool, repaint the porch furniture.  We need to buy sand for the sandbox, create a plant potting area, and just enjoy the long summer days to come.  Kayla is currently obsessed with flamingos, so a bright, colorful, tropical look is what we are going for.
