A Belated Welcome to February!

Ah, February, the official month of love.  

Ah, February, home to reds, pinks, whites, roses, and dainty lace.  Paper hearts, conversation hearts, hearts bursting in love, and, sadly, broken hearts. 

Ah, February, host to Groundhog’s Day, the Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, Black History Month, and this year – Leap Year!

Ah, February, such a tradition-filled month. 

I never thought of February as being a favorite month, usually there is a ton of snow on the ground and cold, cold winds blowing (not this year, at least not yet).  But this year is different.  Homeschooling the kiddies has changed my perspective of this month – so much to learn, so much to create, so much to love.
