And the Oscar Goes To . . .

Last week, due to becoming ill, I spent a week on the Isle of Couch.  I did nothing but doze and moan and, by Wednesday, had to have my mom take me to the ER for horrendous eyeball ache (flu, migraine, dehydration (DRINK YOUR WATER!)).  I didn’t read, watch t.v., play on FB or update my blog.  BUT I’m here now!  Thrilled, aintcha? By Sunday, I was able to actually, er, never mind.  I was going to say “enjoy” the day, but by then I was having my third … meltdown? Temper tantrum? She’s off her rocker again? moment.  In my defense, a son had clogged the upstairs commode days before and then Sunday evening, a granddaughter clogged the downstairs and that just sort of sent me over the edge. So, I said no one was using the bathrooms and I went to bed.  And in true fashion, it was I who was up at 3 a.m. with the plunger in one hand and my iphone in the other frantically googling what products were safe to use on commode clogs all the while muttering unintelligibly and in dissonant sound.  Ahem.
I did pick up C so he and K could hang.  We played K's current favorite, the board game of Life. My play mimicked my own real life and that wasn't any fun. Waah!
K and C. Sorry about your head C.
Why when I ask you to smile do you look like you are in pain? And I am not deleting this so don't ask!
I can't write on K's FB wall cause she deletes everything I post. But here, HAHAHA! I can show NO MERCY!  And she does read this. And I love it!!!!!  And I love you K-Bear!
Here's a cute one of K and C the week before at Dave & Buster's (and before K changed her hair color AGAIN)
But that was last week and this is now and I am feeling much better and the weather is currently 54 degrees here in Pittsburgh and will be climbing to 73.
Good morning Sunshine!
Station Square
Mister came-a-calling last evening.  We had dinner and watched "Stepbrothers." Silly movie.  Great evening.  And then there was a shooting way too close to home.  Saw the sirens, heard it on the news.  Had I been on the 3rd floor probably would have heard the shots.  Jeez!

Being away from the office for a week means plenty to do.  Here and at home. I have a busy weekend coming up so I need to make a few lists. Want to bake up some goodies. And the St. Paddy’s Day Parade is Saturday and I would like to take K to town to check it out.  Later in the day, Amanda’s boys will be joining us for a sleepover.  So I've really got a lot to do before then.  But first, I've got to do a little work, make a list, type a bit, make a list and ... make lists.

Enjoy your day!
