It ended on a high note, a beautiful warm weekend with a few shower storms thrown in to cool it off when needed.
We welcomed the drone of lawn mowers, savored the sweet smell of fresh cut grass, watered gardens and welcomed guests to sit with us on our newly summer-ized porch.
Elliot played with his water table, zoomed his cars and trains, and painted with water colors. Kayla and I took turns rocking Elliot on the glider and reading to him his current favorite Golden Books.
We ended the weekend with a walk to the local ice cream store and were caught in a torrential downpour on our way home.
May every weekend these next four months be as lovely as this.
